We are a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer focused on deploying Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 solutions. Our production lines are primarily manual, and we are seeking a Automation Engineer with Digital Twin experience to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Introduction to the job
The Automation Engineer with Digital Twin experience will be responsible for developing and implementing practical automation and digital twin models to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our manual production lines. This role requires knowledge in automation (data, software and hardware) and data integration to help create a virtual representation of our production processes and a highly efficient physical operations.
Role and responsibilities
Identify opportunities of deploying automation and connect to practical solutions.
Develop and maintain digital twin models for assembly production processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for digital twin development.
Implement data automation solutions to streamline data collection and integration.
Integrate automation and digital twin models with existing software systems and databases.
Monitor and optimize digital twin performance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Provide technical support and training.
Bring in updates from industry trends and advancements in automation and digital twin technology for internal assessment for implementation.
Education and experience
Masters with major in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering background.
Strong knowledge and proven experience in automation (data, software and hardware), IoT, data integration and digital twin related applications in manufacturing.
Skills
Familiar with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI is required.
Capable of programming (such as Python, Java, VBA, or C#, C++ etc.), and Power Automate, Power App are a plus.
Skilled in communications and collaborations, with open-mindedness and strong learning momentum.
