Introduction to the job As a LEAN Expert you will co-lead the Lean transformation within TNF together with local management towards sustainable improvement, aiming at an overall breakthrough on cost effectiveness and inventory reduction according to the deployment roadmap. You will provide support to the line organization through planning, execution and providing follow up on the deployment activities. Co-ordinate the necessary training and coaching to employees, including leadership teams, and build internal capabilities through train-the-trainer concepts. The results of the deployment (deliverables, business impact and mindset change) are owned by the management team. As a LEAN Expert you will respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for Lean thinking, and thereby act as a change agent to help ASML’s TNF sector in the transformation towards a Lean organization. Role and responsibilities Mindset changes: transform mindsets to maintain continuous improvement efforts beyond project activities and change their way of working to a Lean way of working. Management Coaching will be one of the means to achieve such mindset shift. Problem solving leadership: contributes to the improvement of the whole operations value stream by participating in or facilitating problem solving sessions. Knowledge transfer: trains and coaches ASML employees & management on Lean principles and behaviors. Continuous improvements: identifies potentials for new improvements. Business case: evaluates financial consequences of required resources to implement Lean concepts and translates the realized improvements into positive business impact. Project leadership: co-designs and runs Lean transformations in specific areas. Defines the overall work plan: coordinates the project teams through different phases, ensures support, provides adequate status updates, shares responsibility to reach the target together with line management, enforces prerequisites for sustainability of results. Education and experience Bachelor/ Master degree with 7 yrs experience in Manufacturing (e.g. line, engineering), has a general understanding of technical topics (through technical background or job experience). A passion for Continuous Improvement and exhibits a ‘there must be a better way, why don’t we try …’ mentality, can think outside the box; Experience in Lean deployment or application is an absolute plus, as well as experience in Coaching. Skills Has the potential to use a range of different influencing techniques (influencing without power); Actively gives and seeks constructive feedback; Crisp communicator at all levels (operational – executive); Is able to listen to others issues and can work in team; Can train and coach others; Delivers fact-based and well-structured messages in a range of different formats, e.g. presentation, written messages. Business English both spoken and written is required; Great networking skills, able to work at multiple levels of the organization, from team members on the field to Senior Managers; The ability to enthuse and inspire colleagues in Lean Thinking as a business necessity; A belief in 'walking the talk' and working as a member of a team; Potential to become a future leader Additional relevant experience with continuous improvement methods (problem solving, six sigma) or change/ project management experience. Introduction to the job Make sure that the ASML equipment at the Customer site meets the agreed performance target(s) by applying proven Equipment Performance management methodologies. Ensure Availability data integrity with CS Site and customers, identify transparent inline/E10 GAP. Responsible for necessary data transfer of know how to customers. Gate keeper for SEMI-E10 rule. Improve and auto availability reconcile data influx on AVATAR for PMA5 project EPE with assigned core technical competency are able to give the technical input for XLD / MTBFp PL, support top-X analysis ,join XLD/XSR/SA disturbance intake meeting and AIR solution tracing Role and responsibilities Monitors and Analyze the machine performance indicators at the Customers site by using standard reporting tooling.-AVATAR •Ensures required technical and administrative documentation is completed in a clear, concise and timely manner. Informs all parties affected by assignments of progress/problems in a timely manner. •Machine Performance related issues are being addressed and coordinated until solved to ensure that the machine performance target(s) criteria are met. •Monitor Availability/Reliability/XLD KPI with consolidated analysis report to drive performance to target and proactively engage site operation and customers. •Regularly reports the machine performance towards the Customer and Veldhoven through TOP X bucketing analysis and connect with WS PL to drive solution plan with Central. •Solution Golden package preparation and implantation ,Makes plans in cooperation with the Customer to actively implement Solutions it terms of Patches, FCA, FCO,s etc in order to optimize the machine performance. •Makes sure that every Down longer then 4 hours is being evaluated and that a Long Down Report is send to Veldhoven for WW evaluation. •Wrap up bi-weekly XLD intake post follow up action to drive close loop XLD improvement action with Central. •Recommends Return Of Investments proposals to the Customer for applicable solutions. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
